Title: Re: AUGD: MacBeginnings
Jerome,
That’s really strong attendance for those classes and I suspect it’s because of all the retired folks you have there in Naples (some friends of mine just bought their retirement home there).
Congrats on the gig with the newspaper. I have approached the local paper here about writing a Mac column and was told they aren’t interested.
Do you keep the group computer locked up at the meeting space or do the presenters have to meetup at some point and swap the computer? Seems like the latter would be a bit of a pain. Our group had its own computer back 10 years ago, but as more board members got powerbooks, we stopped doing that. Our presenters can charge the group for the use of their laptop for a meeting.
Chris
P.S.- You may want to add your email address with the me.com to your Yahoo profile, so you don’t have posting issues in the future.
