Mr. Hart - The purpose of the posted list - http://appleusergroupresources.com/?cat=12 is to encourage people to join a User Group. There are benefits to joining. Discounts on hardware and software is one of them.Every User Group has an Apple Ambassador.
It’s a role assigned to one
individual from each user group in the Apple database. This person may
order the resource mailing and is considered Apple’s primary contact for
that group. One of their responsibilities is to " deal
with individual requests for coupon codes." Please review the User Group Ambassador Guide (PDF)Gary E. Kampel

Why do you go through this trouble, when there is a user group resource site that has this information.
... We publish this site link in our newsletter and let members handle the rest. I personally feel we (in our group) do enough for members already and I wouldn’t personally want to have to deal with individual requests for coupon codes.
