We try to have raffles often and we average every other meeting. Everyone in
attendance (including guests) are eligible to the raffle. Typically the
drawings are towards the end of the meeting to keep attendance high. :)
A couple of times a year we raffle off 'substantial' prizes, like iPad or
iPhone. For those events we charge for tickets ($1 per ticket with $20
maximum). For other times we raffle off products 'donated' by vendors or
Apple store gift cards (that we purchase).
If we have multiple prizes to give, we normally rank them (from best to
worst) before the raffle and go on that order.
