Well, one could do that if they want to loose 3 months of mail and other data. I don't want to lose anything I just want my OS to be the great OS apple meant for it to be and that means SL. I wonder if anyone has done a global poll of how many people actually LIKE Lion! I bet that would shock apple in a BIG way and they'd jump on making things right again. JMHO,

I'm hoping I can just install SL over lion. I kind of accepted mail in classic mode but still hate it. I hate not being able to work on something and save it as something different without first making a duplicate, both in text edit or preview. Lion is by far the worse OS apple has put out and why they did it I'll never understand. I'm telling everyone I know to NOT upgrade, it will ruin your life.

I have Lion & Snow Leopard on partitions of my iMac & am using Snow Leopard exclusively.
I got a refurbished "Early 2011" MacBook Pro on Friday and got on the phone to Apple this morning to request 10.6.6 disks for it.
It has Lion installed and came with NO DVDs but since it originally shipped with SL, they are sending me the 10.6.6 / 10.6.7 disks.
I have the commercial Leopard & Snow Leopard install disks, but only the original DVDs will do a proper install on the MBP.

I'm wondering if anyone has gone back to snow leopard from Lion? Did you need to go back to leopard first then upgrade to snow leopard. Or did you have to wipe the hard drive and start over?
