The announcements we get from this list are nice, but I wish we had the ability to work with and network in more ways with other MUGs.
We don't get any help from our local Apple Stores in Dallas, Texas. Most don't know MUGs exist and management won't offer our cards out to potential members. Why when they can sell more One to One memberships, I guess.
I'd like to learn more from other groups what they are doing, what things they do for guest speakers, what things seem to attract new members, etc.
We're celebrating our 35th year as a MUG this year... It would be nice to see MUGs around the world could work together more.

I can also point out that the list is configured to reply to the sender, not to the group. Both of those reasons can explain low traffic. In this case, low traffic does not mean low value! If we lose this list, where are we expected to get this sort of info to distribute to our MUGs?

The question is, does or can this list provide a value to user group leaders? The Apple User Group Advisory Board would like your input, before making a decision as to whether to create a new system or not. We look forward to hearing from you.
