I also had not heard of it...I use SpamSieve likewise and it does a great job, but one problem for me is protection of my other devices [iPads, iPhones] and when I travel, since I'm not at the home computer to check [tho I have really never found SS to fail in the sense of false positives - things seen as spam which are not. If anything SS sometimes does not catch things, but that is so rare it doesn't really matter. People can still re-send or even, gosh!, phone me. This has been an interesting discussion tho and I might do a test of SD to see how it works. On Jan 7, 2014, at 10:16 PM, Randy B. I hadn't heard of SpamDrain before. Looks interesting. I use SpamSieve to the same effect. It works like magic and is highly accurate. The advantage is that I'm in complete control of how it works and can comb through my spam locally (and offline, if I prefer) before I decide to permanently delete it.
