Some vendors will do presentation via FaceTime, Skype, Google+ Hangouts, and/or screen sharing. We had Smile Software present to our May meeting. In April, Adam Engst and Chuck Joiner did a good presentation on Macworld Expo and the Heartbleed bug. It is suppose to be posted as a MacVoices podcast, but I haven’t seen it yet.
There are others as well. You might check other MUG websites and see what they are doing. I’m doing my personal presentation in June on iOS Basics and will use some Google video to help out with the presentation as Jeff suggests below. In July I have a member talking about Filemaker. He is a developer and recently rejoined as a member.
In August and September, I’m doing the presentation myself. August on Office for iPad and in September a presentation on Open Source Software. (September has become an Open Source Month and I’ve done this presentation in the past. Just going to update.)
October is still open, but hope to do something about iPhone 6 and iOS 8. That should be available by then. November will be a FaceTime presentation by Bob Levitus. He always does a good job and usually has a recent book to plug.
I always try to have a backup presentation planned as a last minute replacement in case something happens to the planned one.
Currently TUMS is a very small group with about 8-10 in attendance most nights and up to about 20 on a good night. Still trying to rebuild after previous leadership had decided to shut the group down. When I was in Fort Worth, (CowtownMUG), I had a panel discussion of Mac Utilities as a backup as well as “Stump the Experts” as another one. Something similar could work for you. The trick here also is if you don’t need it as the backup, still plan on using it after 3 or 4 months so that the preparation gets used before it goes stale.
I have tried to get a Vendor Resource Center started on the UGNN.com web site and some material is there. But it is getting dated and I hope to update that listing this summer and find some new ones as well.
Hope this helps. Lynn Wegley Tulsa Users of Macintosh Society Infomanager on UGNN.com (Newsletter issued each Sunday)

Any suggestions for other resources or else prepared videos we can show and talk about amongst ourselves?
We do not have a treasury so can't pay bucks. We have a small amount for refreshments, but it's stretched as it is.
Thanks for any ideas.
