Hi,
Long time listener, first time caller. I wrote an automator script
for my wife when she was using my old powerbook that would grab the
selected photo in iphoto, resize it to an appropriate size, attach it
to an e-mail, ask you for a subject and send the photo to a moblog
(mobile weblog) photo gallery. This worked fine on her powerbook.
She has now upgraded to a new intel based mac mini, and I have
recompiled(?) the automator script on her intel machine. It still
create a mail, attaches a resized photo, adds a custom subject line,
and sends it, but now our moblog can't seem to extract the photos from
the e-mail anymore.
I sometimes notice that when I attach photos to mail.app by dragging
them in that they are impossible to extract on some windows mail
clients. I also know that I can sometimes solve this by clicking
attach, ensuring that attach windows friendly is selected, and
attaching the file that way. My question: can anyone confirm that
intel automator and powerpc automator attach in different ways, and/or
can anyone suggest a workaround?
thanks,
