Seems to rather ignore the realities of publishing lead times and economics of a quite limited market. That book was in the mill for a long time.

It really annoys me that Sal, who is the head of applescript at apple would knowingly release a book that would become dated within months. I'd grown to like Sal, watching his segments on Macbreak (not to be confused with Macbreak <some other word or phrase here>) But with the changes to the language and new features of snow leopard automator, and knowing full well they would happen as it is his department creating the changes there was no reason the book couldn't have been updated for snow leopard and the book then released to coincide with snow leopard. The way it's been done is SO MICROSOFT.

Grump.
