Hello everyone. Would appreciate some assistance here...
I have an automated workflow where iCal launches three separate
automator applications each hour that 1) check mail in three separate
accounts, 2) grab the PDF attachment from each of those messages found
in each of those accounts, 3) converts PDF to JPEG, 4) uploads to a
directory via FTP that then displays those images as a gallery. There
are other parts of the process that handle the file management on my
local computer (moving the converted files around, etc).
The biggest issue for me is that there are SO many files since I can
only set Mail to delete messages older than 1 day. What I really want
to do is create some sort of script (Automator or AppleScript
directly) that will run as an iCal alarm hourly ... Open Mail, delete
all messages, and close Mail again ... then when the original
processes happen they will get the newest/latest three messages and
run those through the process detailed above. This would save sooo
much time, processor, and BANDWIDTH. Yikes.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
