Automator Actions and MSWord

All,

I am trying to generate some automator functions that will use AppleScript to manipulate Microsoft Word files. I understand and one can look at the "dictionary" for Microsoft Word, but this doesn't really tell me how to "use" Microsoft's object structure. Can anyone out there give me a pointer that might help me learn how to manipulate MS Word's object structure using AppleScript?

Thanks in advance,

-Coe F. Miles.
