i like to perform action in automator:

1) open document from desktop (with text editor)
2) put contents yo clipboard 
3) open other document in other program (excel)
    (so i can paste contents clipboard to new document)
4) close first program (text editor)

5/10 times: action stops at line 2 with error window (contents is not on clipboard)
5/10 times:  works OK
i can't find any logic
