Hello i have got a mac mini 80 gb 10.6.6 with snow leopard and i have got a games folder on a 1 tb external cyclone hard drive and i am trying to use automator to do a backup and zip and send it to another 120 gb external hard drive,i think i have set it up ok to run but i keep getting the message saying i do not have permission to read it ?
i think it means the cyclone and yet when i look at info on it i have read write for me,staff and everyone has read only,have you got any ideas what is going wrong please?
also i think i saw something where you can save it to the desktop so you can backup when you like.
