Hi, I'm new to this website (and new to automator programming). I want to create an application (workflow?) to take screenshots of my mac every minute for 1 hour. How do I do that? I have a CAD program which is very slow at processing its images. It takes about 1 minute to create an image and I need to take a shot of that and collect all the images created so that I can run through them later. Ideally, I'd like to combine all the images together into a slideshow/video. How do I do this? I've been searching the net for help but I couldn't find anything. Can anyone help? Every site I go to tells me Automator is really easy to program but the logic is not clearly laid out like in a normal computer programming language tutorial. I see all these tasks and am not sure how to use them.

My workflow is very simple:
  1. When launched, take screenshots at 1 minute intervals.
  2. Label screenshots in numerical order so that I know which comes first.
  3. Save them into a prescribed folder.
  4. After 60 shots or 1 hour, stop.
  5. Exit.

PS: I don't even know where to send my request… Sorry if this is going to the wrong place.

Duhh, brownpanda.
