Automator unable to select the object I tell him to

  • Subject: Automator unable to select the object I tell him to

Hi once again,

I created an app that serves for a musical alarm clock which launches automatically on scheduled login into the system with the exact time I preset. My workflow (saved as Application) is: Get Specified Finder items--->Start iTunes playing. In the beginning it was OK, but then started to play either from the very first track of the whole iTunes Library or from the first track of "Last Added". Playing it directly in Automator with "Results" tab expanded displayed the file I selected for the action Get Specified Finder iTimes but when the time came for iTunes to play just it it played other track instead with "No results" shown in Results tab. I tired to modify the workflow adding Set Program in a trailing position to the workflow to no avail. Why is it so????

Kindest regards,

ILYA SHEBALIN
