Michelle,

The Atinav stack will not work on MacOS X. Although it is an all-Java stack, it still uses some JNI that is specific to Win32 operating systems.

However, if you're interested in using Java on MacOS X, then you should look into the Avetana stack. You can find a link to almost every Java Bluetooth stack on the planet on my website:

Hi everyone,

Just after a bit of advice regarding bluetooth stacks. I am planning my final year bluetooth based project and have noticed that the built in stack for os x seems to like the C variant languages. Coming from a java background is it viable for me to attempt to learn and use Objective C to write my app (as I've read it is similar to java), or should I just use another stack (e.g the popular atinav SDK).

Any thoughts would be much appreciated,

Michelle
