I've subscribed to this list on the thinking that this is the closest to an airport-dev list that I can find. If there's no help you can give me with regards to my specific problem, and I've joined the completely wrong list, or you know of other lists or people who can help me, I'd appreciate the feedback.
Basically, my problem is thus: I'm currently undertaking a project at university where I require taking signal strength measurements around different environments. To do this, I use calls to the apple airport tool which returns to me a signal strength value in RSSI. As all vendor RSSI measures differ across their cards, I would like to convert it into a more universal dBm measure, as described in the following article:

Unfortunately, while Cisco and older Atheros lookup tables are available for this purpose, I cannot find any to be used with the Atheros AR5BXB6, the chipset used in the Intel mac notebooks.
So, I was wondering if anyone on this list has had any experience with this, or if they could please direct me to someone who has?
