IOBluetoothDeviceOpenRFCOMMChannelAsync in 10.5

  • Subject: IOBluetoothDeviceOpenRFCOMMChannelAsync in 10.5

Hello:

I am using the IOBluetoothDeviceOpenRFCOMMChannelAsync function to open a
connection to my Bluetooth device. In fact, in one of my test frameworks,
I open and close the connections repeatedly. On a system running OS X
10.4.10, Bluetooth version 1.90.80.08, this function works reliably every
time I wish to open the connection. However, on a system running 10.5,
Bluetooth version 2.0.80.14, the function doesn't work as reliably. Nearly
half of the time, I receive the MACH_SEND_INVALID_DEST error.

Can anyone offer suggestions on where the problem might lie?

Thanks,

James Blair
