Yes, we have similar problems with our applications. Even worse, the
Bluetooth Manager crashes a little bit later when back in releasing the
autorelease pool. It occurs when opening/closing connections one after the
other, which works fine on 10.4.x.
We filed a bug report a month ago. For the moment our software spends 3
"Leopard memorial seconds" waiting between closing a channel and opening it
again (while calling the runloop in the mean time). Then it does not crash.
Hope we see a fix soon, because it makes the whole software painfully slow.

I just tested with 10.5.1 Build 9B13, still the same problem.
