Hi Thomas
I've never used the BT API on the Mac, but know enough on the lower
layers of Bluetooth stacks in gerneal. Did you try to open a BT
connection from the Mac to several devices (<= 7 ovioulsy)? I don't
see, why this should not work and I think I've used several conections
already. Using more than one dongle looks more problematic to me.

Hello,
according to some messages in the list archives it is not possible
to use more than one bluetooth device at a time with the Bluetooth
API.
What I'd like to accomplish is to use multiple Bluetooth USB dongles
that are connected to the Mac to send and receive files using OBEX
to/from many different devices simultaneously.
e.g. it should be possible to send different files to 3 different
mobile phones while receiving files from 2 others and still do a
device discovery at the same time.
Since Apple's Bluetooth API seems to be limited to only one
bluetooth device I'd like to know if there are any other ways to
solve the problem. Is there a way to access the devices on a low-
level layer and put a third-party Bluetooth API on top of it?
Any ideas are highly appreciated.
Thanks, Thomas
