Hello all,
I'm trying to have my central and peripheral discover and connect as quickly as possible. Given the current advertising frequency of an iOS6 peripheral and the scanning settings of an iOS6 central this can take usually ~5 and up to 10 seconds after I begin advertising on the peripheral with a scanning central in range. I'd really like this to feel almost instant.
Is it now, or will it in future be, possible to adjust the scanning parameters or the advertising parameters, using CoreBluetooth on iOS6? It would be very useful to alter the scanning frequency and advertising frequency if the app knows a connection is likely.
