| The response from a Bluegiga representative is that the BLED112 currently does not work with the Simulator. I haven't yet installed the seed, but will this dongle is recognized in the System Information on Lion.

The iOS simulator is a separate product, so it's worth writing up a bug to make sure that support is added there as well.

I recently found a cheap USB dongle on Amazon with a Broadcom BCM20702A0 Bluetooth 4.0 device that is claimed to support "Bluetooth Smart". At least Snow Leopard doesn't recognize it a supported Bluetooth controller, I don't know if the iOS simulator does or not.
