I read in the Apple documentation:
1. To be discovered by the Apple product, the Bluetooth accessory should first use the recommended advertising
interval of 20 ms for at least 30 seconds.
2. The connection parameter request may be rejected if it does not comply with all of these rules:
Interval Max * (Slave Latency + 1) ≤ 2 seconds
Interval Min ≥ 20 ms
Interval Min + 20 ms ≤ Interval Max
Slave Latency ≤ 4
connSupervisionTimeout ≤ 6 seconds
Interval Max * (Slave Latency + 1) * 3 < connSupervisionTimeout
In my use case, my tag needs to consume very few power....and those connection parameters are not the better one for me :(
I was planning to set min & max interval to 4s and latency=2, timeout=15
Questions:
1. Does it mean my tag will not be compatible with the iPhone4S ?
2. What are the risks for my tag using greater values ?
Tx for your help !
-Fred
