BT LE throughput limits per App

  • Subject: BT LE throughput limits per App

Hi,

I have a somewhat common, but potentially confusing question.

From my research, BT Low Energy, without restriction and depending on the module, can and should be able to reach 200Kbps.

When looking at the what has been practically achieved as the limit on iOS, it's between 20Kbps and 37Kbps.

What if you use two different modules in the same app?

Is the total throughput capped per connection or is it per app?  For example, if I have two connections running at 25Kbps, would I effectively reach 50Kbps, so that they don't interfere?

Cheers,
Simon
