Sorry, cannot answer your question currently. However, the idea behind limiting to
25 kbps is battery-related, and that your app won't run less smooth when you are
running more than one app.
So, even if it is possible to reach 50 kbps, you may run into issues with the review
process when you try to submit an app that circumvents this restriction. Similar
restrictions apply to backgrounding modes (for example, you cannot initiate
background downloads in your app).
