Long Disconnect Time

I have been updating my code for iOS6 and have have noticed that cancelPeripheralConnection is now taking ~1 min to actually disconnect from my device.  Is anyone else seeing this behavior, or was something changed and I am now doing something incorrect.   

 [manager cancelPeripheralConnection:aPeripheral];
