I'm working on an app that uses BluetoothLE scanning as well as loading images over the network. I discovered that image loading is incredibly slow if a scan is in progress. This seems strange to me since image loading is over HTTP through the wifi connection while scanning is using the bluetooth chip. Does anyone know what would cause this? What should be a 4 second image load is taking almost a minute if a scan is in progress. Very odd.
