Same here in beta 4. I somehow remember this behaviour being advertised as a feature - maybe at wwdc? Not sure, though.
The behaviour is problematic since a second app that does not know the exact UUID has no way to discover the peripheral reliably. Retrieveconnectedperipherals does not include the advertisement data, retrieveperipherals only works when you know the device
UUID.

I have been updating my code for iOS6 and have have noticed that cancelPeripheralConnection is now taking ~1 min to actually disconnect from my device. Is anyone else seeing this behavior, or was something changed
and I am now doing something incorrect.
