Thanks Jeff, that app did in fact help me find the problem in my IAR code.
One thing to note, after I got it working I double checked with another app (Lightblue) and BLE Scanner seems to only show a 16bit UUID even if a 128bit UUID is being sent. Lightblue showed the full 128bit.

I have created a project based on TI's SimpleBLEPeripheral project, however I'm stuck getting iOS to find it when specifying the UUID in 'scanForPeripheralsWithServices'
If I leave this nil, I can find the hardware and find my Service based on it's UUID. It just doesn't seem to be broadcasting the UUID during discovery.
