thank you for the very fast response.
The use case scenario is something related to proximity discovery with multiple centrals. So you have like one peripheral device that broadcasts its advertisments and some centrals that leveraging on the RSSI estimate how far they are from the peripheral.
In this scenario using a connection approach does not scale, because with the growth of centrals number they will start competing for the peripheral and will lose precision.
Considering that the RSSI can be calculated when every advertisment packet arrives on the central side, it is possible to let the CoreBluetooth framework to keep it updated in the CBPeripheral data structure?
What do you suggest as next step? File a bug report with this description?
