first, questions are always ok :-)
I did not use the TI chip, but the CSR 1000 chip for the tests in my graph.
The throughput was restricted by iOS, not by the CSR chip. Therefore, you should
get similar results with your TI chip.
5-6 kbit/s are what should be expected when setting data with the reliable methods,
as at least two connection events are used for every chunk of data read / write.
20 kbit/s are only possible with notification / writeWithoutResponse - based protocols.
