Correct. A CBCentralManager and a CBPeripheralManager supporting the same service UUIDs on the same device (whether the same app or different apps) will not be visible to each other over Bluetooth.
A practical explanation of why this makes sense would be to think about what the RSSI value would look like for the peripheral when enumerated by the central :)
