The TI SensorTag is nicely packaged and available from Digikey for around $29. This is the new TI chip with an ARM Cortex M3 and lots of sensor control. There is an antenna connector on the PCB, not sure of the exact type. You will also need the CC-DEVPACK-DEBUG for $15.  The dev environment is TI's Code Composer Studio and a license is included.

Their old development kit had an SMA connector on it, but that kit’s probably not even available any more and uses an old rev of the chip. Their eval kit has a micro SMA connector on it, but that’s just for testing the on-board antenna. Possibly you could cut the trace to the on-chip antenna and use the connector but I’m not sure it would work very well.

If the UFL is an absolute requirement you may find it hard to find a ready-available module.
