We think that is possible because the voice car kit on most of the cars use this method.
We're able to start the calls via HandsFree profile with Samsung and Blackberry with our application.

With iphone we're able only to recall the last number with our application on raspberry.
We tested the iPhone 5S with Ford Focus car kit, and it is able to start any call also with iOS.
Maybe we're missing some procedure that commercial device do.

Are you sure this is possible? Do you know any device that could start a call externally? I have only seen stuff that starts Siri or recalls the last number. Though, I haven't researched the topic too deeply.

Trying to send the ATD command on same profile of the other AT commands, the Iphone replies us with "ERROR" message every time.

How enable Dial Up Network profile? There is a special AT command or a setting to do in the Iphone?


Please note that our software on raspberry works correctly with other mobiles like Blackberry or Samsung Android.
