you may download light blue app from App Store to do the test, use lightblue app to check the uuid.

Our product is garage door controller, a small add-on to the existing garage door opener. It has embedded BLE chip inside to handle the communication between the iPhone and the controller. So far it works fine without the uuid issue.

We didn't explicitly kill all the apps, we just power off and power on the iphone. A different UUID (for the same device) was seen in didDiscoverPeripheral.

We tested with a couple of iPhone 5s/6/6 Plus and iPad Air, running 8.1.2/8.1.3.

Most of them got different UUIDs after first restart. Some of them got the same UUID after first restart. But if we restart them one more time, different UUIDs will be returned.

The only exception is iPhone 6 Plus (64GB, MGAK2ZP/A). We can get the same UUIDs on 8.1.2/8.1.3 even after 3 restarts.
