iOS 7.1 and Yosemite Advertisement issues

Has anyone else seen the issue between Yosemite (central) and iOS 7.x (peripheral) where the iOS device's advertisements do not show any service UUID and searching by UUID no longer works?
This is not an issue with Mavericks and iOS 7.x and it is not an issue with iOS 8.x and Yosemite.
We are having to connect to every device, discover services, and then disconnect if it's not the right device.
