No examples are needed. Do that -- it just works. You just need to have an
appropriate image filter service registered in the system (just install
ToyViewer or whatever...).
(Tested with MOSXS1.x, I hope Apple did not cripple that behaviour for OS X!)

Of course. Study NSImage(Rep).html and
Developer/Examples/AppKit/SimpleImageFilter to see how the "pixel-per-pixel"
access looks like.

I've started with NeXT some ten years ago, and found both the documentation
