Besides, with a decent search app (which we, alas, don't have, since even the MTLibrarian is not by far as good as needed, and HelpViewer or Sherlock are... well, we all know that) the need is _slightly_ diminished: you could search for the thing you need using a few synonyms ("parse" would not do for
NSScanner, but "interpret" or "scan" would).

What's wrong with searching for those synonyms in the pdfs with Acrobat Reader? It works for me.
