That sounds cool... I hope that gets implemented in the next version.
Another useful feature I want (unless it's already there and I missed
it) is a functions/methods menu. Codewarrior has had this for as long as
I can remember, and it's very useful. Basically, it's a menu at the top
of the editor that displays a list of all of the functions in the file,
and you can select a function to jump right to it. Also, there are
#pragma commands that let you put custom items into the menu, including
separators. I's very handy.
Both of these would be great.

Not sure if this is the right list for this, but what is a rather
immensely useful function in a code editor, is the ability to FOLD
functions away so they only show as their header line.
This makes code writing FAR easier as once you finish a function you
"fold" it away. Maybe a key command or a special checkbox next to the
function name would be a good implementation of this. Obviosuly the
code
is still there, it is just not visible and allows for easier searching
thru lines and lines of code for what you want.
Farl,
I think this would be amazingly useful. Why don't you suggest it to
Apple's Project-Builder list (www.lists.apple.com), in case those guys
aren't listening on the Cocoa list?
Excellent idea though!
