ModifierKeys during drag not updating

Im dragging between 2 tableviews
and if i use the modifier during the drag the curser
will only update when the destination is changed,
but the tableView: acceptDrop: will get the right modifier key even if
the curser is not showing
the right state?

Is there a way to show the right state when the modifier key is pressed
during draggin?
