I have some idea why so many people don't know about Obj-C++. Tell me,
where in the /Developer/Documentation folder is it described?
It's not prominent in the documentation because it's (effectively) brand
new for Mac OS X. It wasn't available until 10.1 came out, which was
only slightly more than two months ago.
I'm not going to bother complaining about the state of the documentation
here, since that's been done sooooo many times already. But it's just a
general observation that the complete, polished docs lag behind what's
really available on the system, many of them by quite a lot more than
two months.
(Yes, I know that Obj-C++ was available Way Back When, and then went
away for a while (when did it disappear?--I've forgotten). From what I
recall, it wasn't particularly well documented in the first place, and
the docs have been rearranged dramatically since then.)
