It is extremely rare for Developer Tools releases to have new or modified
APIs (since the Developer Tools have to work with the existing released
system, in this case 10.1.x). The one possible exception are APIs
added/modified in a Software Update of the system (for example, 10.1.1).
However, the Dec 2001 Dev Tools syncs with the Mac OS X 10.1 API set. In
future developer tools release we may sync up to a updated version of the
system (for example, if 10.1.2 added new API, we MIGHT include documentation,
headers, and debug/profile libraries that have the updated APIs in the next
Dev Tools release, depending on the change to the frameworks/libraries in
question).
In general (the vast majority of the time) such API changes will occur with
the release of a new system release (10.0 or 10.1, for example).

Have they improved the API's for Drag and Drop to include some kind of
ability to get the path where the user dropped a file if they dragged it
to a folder in the Finder?
How about the ability to convert from NSFileWrapper to something the Finder
can understand?

The reference documentation for AppKit and Foundation is already available
in PDF form. You can get the PDF's from the TOC page for the framework you'
re interested in and the language you're interested in.
Conceptual material is not currently available in PDF form. At some point
in the future we would like to provide this, and we are actively
investigating how to do so.

Apple has just released the updated Cocoa documentation that will be

Is it possible, anywhere, to get this stuff in PDFs? Those, at least, I
can print out and mark up. The web pages are good if I actually knew what
I was looking for, but since I don't I often give up or don't know about
stuff.
