When you have no idea where certain functionality is, try a search on google
with the relevant words:

FSSpec NSString
http://www.google.com/search?q=FSSpec+NSString&btnG=Google+Search

To be fair, why would anyone expect to find documentation about FSSpec in
Cocoa ? FSSpec is legacy Carbon and it is only relevant to Cocoa
programmers because Apple has done a shitty job of providing access to
legacy Apple stuff from Cocoa , and because even now, Apple continues to add
new features to Carbon while excluding Cocoa.
