Hmmm. Although it's true you can get a separate console up in linux,
and this is _very_ useful at times, it's rather difficult to get
multiple X servers up and running (If you know how many users you've

to run on within a home directory XF86Config, but that means you can
only have a specific set of users hotswapping).
Actually, I was thinking of GDM, the GNOME Display Manager, which can
run a login
screen on multiple virtual consoles. I could hot swap to another console
and have
another graphical login prompt for someone else to log in. GDM will
start X on behalf
of the user who logs in.
But this feature seems to share all the annoyances of my telephone's
"call waiting"
feature. I'd rather see Apple develop a low cost graphical display
terminal and give
Aqua remote display capability. Then someone else in my family could log
on to my machine without bothering me.
