They are NSFormatters. You can drop them on text fields to restrict the kind of data they will accept. I agree that it would be good to include some sort of palette manifest in the help. We do have some better IB documentation coming in the form of Help, FAQs and sample code.

Most of the window items are more or less self-explanatory. However, some are not. (Nice pictures but little information). Does documentation exist? And if so, where can I find it?
