Isn't there prior art in IB related to this?
There is a some synchronization between IB & PB, but it isn't fully
seamless or automatic (or at least it wasn't in the past), as Borland
claims to have. If anything, Borland's idea sounds similar in
function & effect to the old Publish & Subscribe!
IMO it's a meaningless patent anyway, a result of today's practice of
patenting everything & anything to give an illusion of "innovation" and
keep shareholders happy. The right legal wording might give it some
power, but it definitely is in a "grey area".
