Given that the full Developer Tools .dmg is around 100-120MB in size,
would developers still find it useful to have such a large download
available via Software Update? Also, are developer updates something
that developers would find they want to access via Software Update
(since currently you can't store the updater separately for later use)?
Note: I can't promise anything, but I am curious to know if developers
in general would want such an option and why (compared to making it
available via the ADC)
I'd like to be able to get this and future Tools updates through SW
update, and I'd *also* like to have a /developer directory on my iDisk.
Also, I would like to request that SW update either allow *any* third
party product to be updated, or else limit it strictly to Apple-supplied
software.
Besides that, I would like to have a way to tell SW update that I don't
care about IE updates, ever.
