On amazon.com we can see 1571 listings for Java, and 17 matches for
Objective-C, most of which aren't even relative.
A common cliche about the culinary preferences of billions of flies
comes to mind..
If you're really swayed by the popularity argument, then you should be
writing apps for Windoze.
