the topic is Cocoa development.. so it should be OK to mention it no?

except that it doesn't... (well, not as it should)

WOF 4.5.1/EOF is totally broken on Mac OS X for writing Cocoa applications.

EOPalette is entirely hosed, and as a result you can't do diddly with interfaces and EOF as a result. You can't even port your old apps to Mac OS X from Mac OS X Server because you can't even update your existing UIs to Aqua.

You'd have to rebuild your UIs creating all the EOAssociations and such with code instead of in IB.. and even then you're probably stuck just loading your old nibs period.

There are already some developers leveraging this technology with great success, and I'm sure many others would do so if they discovered what EOF is capable of.

The developers who are currently leveraging this technology with great success on Mac OS X Server are hosed completely if they don't go to Java immediately.

Don't get me wrong... as you know I think EOF is fantastic.. but WOF 4.5.1 isn't something to roll out as a solution to Cocoa EOF development in Objective-C.

Apple needs to hear this loud and clear at WWDC.
