NSView for playing QuickTime Movies?

Has anyone written an NSView similar to NSMovieView but without the bugs? I've tried to use NSMovieView in my app and have found countless bugs and drawing problems.

I'm trying to write a simple app in Cocoa that will display QuickTime movies.
